Defrost before cooking.

The easiest and quickest way to cook your trout is to pan-fry it. Add a knob of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil to a hot pan. Season the trout with salt and pepper and any other spices of your choice. Place the trout skin down on the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes before flipping the trout over. Cook for another minute and complete your dish with a squeeze of lemon or lime.

Rainbow trout are farmed on land in RAS tanks, which are customized tanks for rainbow trout (Recirculating Aquaculture Systems). This is a recirculating system, meaning it is either completely or partially closed to the ocean. Juveniles are developed in a hatchery using locally sourced materials.
