Our wild-caught hake portions are carefully cut using the thickest pieces of the fish, removing the skin and bones leaving you with a nice and thick loin of Hake. It is caught off the coast of South Africa from the mouth of the Orange River to Port Elizabeth and is favoured for its delicate white flaky flesh.


Hake tends to have a very mild taste with slightly sweet flesh. Best eaten fried or grilled.
