PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing our Fresh Fish on Pre-Order! Your fish is still swimming! This will delay the rest of your order until it is caught. The estimated delivery time is 2-5 days depending on Fishing.
- You will receive 1x Tuna loin with the total approximate weight of 1700 – 1900g
Our Yellowfin Tuna is caught in the South East Atlantic before being hand filleted keeping only the top loins. These Loins are then put on ice shortly after being caught. We collect the Tuna in the morning and deliver it that same day, allowing for truly fresh Tuna with a beautiful deep red flesh.
Our Yellow Fin Tuna has a medium-mild flavour with a firm yet extremely tender texture. Great to eat sashimi style or for searing.

Sear on a medium-high heat for roughly 1-2min each side. This will ensure the middle is still somewhat pink and juicy.

Sustainability
Our Yellowfin Tuna is caught in the South East Atlantic, which are migratory fish that live for a long time and are commonly seen in mixed schools with other tuna species in open oceans. Prized for sashimi, it is frequently offered in restaurants.
Pole fishing or polling are used to catch our yellowfin tuna. Rigid poles (2-3 meters) are tied to a feathered jig with a barbless hook attached by a small amount of line in this form of fishing. Pole and line fishing is a very selective form of fishing with low bycatch and discard rates and no detrimental influence on benthic ecology or the environment.
