    Mackerel

    Growing up on the West Coast exposed us to fish in abundance. My Father used to smoke mackerel in a homemade smoker which was like manna from heaven. It is one of the best fish to smoke alongside snoek and angle fish. Must admit the mackerel I bought from Caught online, is very close to that taste buds which brought back fond memories growing up as a Weskus klong! Pity though that horse mackerel is not on the menu anymore, cause that is fish fit for a king! But this piece of mackerel was delicious, highly satisfying to the taste buds
