Local products wherever we can. If it is made here, by people who care how it is made, we would rather stock it than import an equivalent — and we would rather you sold it to our members under your own name than someone else’s.
Our job is to curate. Can we list everything you make? Possibly not. Getting the mix right — the correct products and the correct amount of choice for our customers — is the work we do on your behalf, and it is why the things we do list sell.
How it works
You make the product. We do everything between your door and the customer’s.
Caught Online is a marketplace with its own cold chain. Your products appear alongside ours under your brand, sold by us, delivered by us, with your money handled separately from ours.
Send us a price list
- Your price list with unit sizes, pack counts and barcodes — a spreadsheet is fine
- One photo per product, uploaded in your dashboard or sent to us
- We load your range and write the listings in our house style
- You review every product before it goes live

Connect your store
- Install the Caught Online app from your Shopify admin
- Choose which products to list — titles, variants and photos come across automatically
- Send us your supply prices — your Shopify prices are retail, not what we pay you
- Stock stays in sync with your store
Saves the keying-in. Same approval, same payouts, same dashboard.
Either way we need your supply prices. Connecting Shopify brings your catalogue across, but the price in your store is what your own customers pay — it is not what we pay you. Your supply price is a separate number you set, and you can change it any time in your dashboard.
Getting paid
Your money is ring-fenced before we touch our own.
When a customer pays, the money is held on our payment platform, not in our trading account. Your share of every sale is set aside the moment it happens.
- You set your supply price. We set the retail price the customer sees. What you earn per unit is a number you chose and can see in your dashboard.
- Payouts run every day on what has sold, and land in your bank account within one to two days.
- Every payout comes with a statement listing the orders behind it. Upload your invoice against it so both sides reconcile to the same number.
- We cannot draw our own money out ahead of yours. The platform enforces a floor equal to what is owed to merchants.
Every delivery, reconciled against your own invoice
ExampleThis is the screen in your dashboard. One ring per delivery you send us: the whole circle is what you consigned, and the solid arc is money already in your bank. Attribution is exact — each ring traces back to the stock in that delivery, not a pooled balance — so you can take any one of them to your bookkeeper.

Two ways to supply
Consign stock to us, or pack to order. Your choice per product.
Stock stays yours. We hold it and pay you as it sells.
Deliver a quantity into our Cape Town or Johannesburg warehouse. We pick, pack and deliver from it. You’re paid per unit sold, and you can move or recall stock at any time.
Best for frozen and long-life ambient products where sitting in our freezer costs you nothing.
Nothing sits. You pack against confirmed orders only.
Set a cap per delivery window. We sell up to the cap, then close the product until the next window. After cut-off you get the order list, pack exactly that, and deliver to us for the last mile.
Best for fresh meat, dairy, bakery and anything short-dated. Zero waste on your side.
