Cooking

These firm yet juicy Prawns have a slightly sweet taste and tend to go great any way you choose to cook them, whether it be grilling, frying, braaing, or even in a soup or curry.

Best to defrost before cooking. Drain any excess water that remains in the bag after defrosting.

In general, medium-sized prawns take 3-4 minutes to cook.
The Prawns are cooked when their flesh has turned pink and opaque throughout.
We recommend cooking with Butter, garlic, chilli and lemon for a simple classic flavour.

Your product will delivered in a polystyrene cooler box, which is use commonly in the seafood industry to maintain temperature and more importantly quality. This helps ensure a seamless, cold-chain delivery process.

Sustainability

These prawns are farmed without the use of the harmful chemicals that pollute waterways as well as any antibiotics. They are untreated with any additional chemicals post-harvesting and they have no glaze added to them, all of which is reflected in their taste.

Vannamei prawns are predominantly found in the Pacific Ocean, from the Mexican state of Sonora to Northern Peru. They are also found in the warm waters surrounding Indonesia and farmed in certain parts of Vietnam, Ecuador and India that adhere to strict standards.
