Fresh Norwegian Salmon Fillet


Fillets traditionally used by restaurant chefs, they are known to be a more elegant cut opposed to the portions or steaks. A perfect seafood dish to impress the guest or to cook for the family. Larger cuts are also less likely to dry out, keeping them tender and moist once cooked!

We work with Salmon-farming pioneers situated in Norway to bring you a very balanced, high-quality Salmon all year round. They are sustainably farmed, full of Omega 3s, moderately firm and buttery. Most importantly, whether poached, baked, or grilled and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, Norwegian Salmon fillets will bring a little bit of rich, colourful joy to your table.

If you’re looking for an easy way to cook salmon, the best way is to bake it in the oven. Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius, and then place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. One simple way to elevate salmon is to top it with a delicious sauce.

The fillet is also a great show stopper on the braai! Cook skin side down until skin is crispy and salmon is cooked to your liking.

We source our Salmon from an ASC certified Salmon farm in Norway, by being the most stringent sustainability standard, The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) standard underpins the cultural tenet sustainability in everything done by the farm. Our Salmon farm avoids the use of antibiotics, achieving record low levels in 2019. Diseases that were previously treated with antibiotics are now treated using vaccines, resulting in the lowest use of antibiotics amongst all sources of protein.

Your product will delivered in a polystyrene cooler box, which is use commonly in the seafood industry to maintain temperature and more importantly quality. This helps ensure a seamless, cold-chain delivery process.

Fresh Norwegian Salmon Fillet

I at first was hesitant as it was advertised as vacuum sealed, however when it arrived it was not the case, however I absolutely loved it, we prepared it in three different ways, Sashimi, Cured and Seared, and they were all three as delicious as the next, I will indeed order it again.
